Found this on Autotrader. Listed as having under 3k miles for $50,000. I do not know how to add the voting system but wanted you all to see this. That thing is cherry (Blue, really) but I have to say it's CP. Fifty large can buy a lot of car.

I was just about to type up a NPOCP for this car haha.. The regular car review made me look at E36 M3's and this was the top result for blue manual M3's. The interior looks amazing, but CP

Just think about this: You can buy a 50K mile Aston Martin V8 Vantage for that money.

CP. I'd actually trust one with ~15,000 miles more than one with 3,000. Cars need to be driven, it's not good for them to sit too much.

The dumbass sees fit to put 'highway miles' in the ad...seriously?

I think the more interesting question would be what this is actually worth?
We all obviously agree that it ain't 50 large, so I'll start the bidding at the default m-car price of $15k.

Yeah it seems like this guy bought it and said, "This will be a great investment!" Then he parked it in a garage.

Or get this with 3,000 miles, and still have
a good bit of cash
about 9 grand
left over

I thought that was strange too. If that is actually true, it just means he ignored the break-in period. "Bought me a brand new M3. It'll be a great investment after I drive it to Vegas. What do you mean I gotta break 'er in? I'ma just cruise on the highway at a steady 55 mph all the way there."

I saw a few e30's they had listed. Huge money for those. I guess some schmuck is always willing to pay.
Are the "lightweight" M3s that rare? I know Paul Walker was collecting them. I dont know any production numbers though.

Just saw 126 produced. That probably makes it a $100k car.

That's a USDM-only super limited production special edition. Yeah, it's definitely worth big money.

This car has been listed on AT for at least four years. I don't know if it is a scam or it just hasn't sold yet. I wouldn't spend that dough though.

I'm with you. Nothing against BMW but in most cases $50,000 gets a CP vote from me too.
